Members of the Swiss National Team attended the Czech Open tournament in Nymburk two weeks ago. The tournament was an important milestone in their preparations for the European Championships, as well as the World Championships 2011, which will take place in North Korea. The tournament is always well organised and offers the opportunity to compare one’s skills with those of participants from all over Europe. Medis Mesic und Sadin Mujadzic (Sonkal Kleindöttingen), Sarah Carter (Taekwon-Do Baden) and the National Coach for Sparring, Suad Bajramovic, had a great time and returned to Switzerland with some medals: Medis won Bronze in sparring, Sadin got a gold medal in special techniques as well as silver in sparring. Sarah Carter was awarded a bronze medal in sparring. All of them are very motivated on training and are looking forward to future challenges. We would like to congratulate them all on their success.
